The Olive Tree is within easy reach of many local attractions.

Also known as El Pinos and named after the pine trees that cover the surrounding mountainside in abundance.
Pinoso is just 10 mins away and is noted to be one of the top five richest towns in Spain due to the large production of marble, granite, local wines and almonds. Pinoso hosts a local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year.

The Jumilla wine region is situated in the province of Murcia and Albacete and covers 30.000 hectares, consisting of 44 bodegas producing 24 million litres of wine a year. Jumilla town nestles in beautiful and wild countryside. Dotted on the outskirts of town are bodegas where you can sample many varieties of wine. Many owners offer tapas to visitors and the opportunity to purchase some of the finest wines found in Spain. Tuesday is market day and a good time to stroll up to the 15th Century castle perched on the hill overlooking the town.

This neighbouring city has a population of some 228,300 inhabitants and is famous for the manufacture of wines and leather. The economy of Elche is based, in large part, on the footwear industry, with over 1,000 shoe factories, being one of the most important footwear industries in Spain and the rest of Europe. Elche Palm Grove is an orchard of over 200,000 palm trees and was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.

Costa Blanca Coast
The Costa Blanca coastline, and all that it offers, is within easy reach. The resorts of Benidorm and Torrevieja well reknown for their nightlife and miles and miles of sandy beaches are an attraction for those young at heart. There are also many fine golf courses up and down the coast for your enjoyment .

A visit to Fortuna will only enhance your Spanish experience. A slice of heaven with its Thermal Springs and only 20 mins away, it is a traditional Spanish city in the northwest mountains of Murcia. Nestled around the hot springs Fortuna offers a true slice of Spanish life. On the outskirts of town there are several archaeological sites some dating back to the Bronze age and Roman times.
